We dined outside in a beautiful breeze under a Linden Tree flocked with pakasandra. The smkoed salmon hollandaise with spinach on a perfectly toasted English muffin was fabulous. The poached eggs were also done perfectly. Flowering rose bushes were exquisite around the driveway. Great brunch

Great place to grab a homestyle breakfast in Hollis area. The eggs were very fresh and cooked perfectly which doesn't happen often at other breakfast joints. Sausage was filled with flavor, and the homefries are some of the best homefries I've ever had! Our server Sarah was super friendly and attentive. This was our first visit here and we will definitely be back for more!
First time there, small place, but what a difference over the big places. Besides the coffee and food being great, and the wonderful staff, you could actually have a conversation without yelling! As my granddaughter said, "the banana chocolate chip pancakes are the best!"
Great breakfast! Went back again 6/24 and were pleasantly surprised with the new look (we still need see a rooster in the decor). Loved the high top tables. I ordered steak tips and eggs and requested rare and that is exactly how they were cooked! Very flavorful, too. Hubby always gets a corned beef hash omelet because the hash is homemade. Thought about venturing out to Parker's, but this place is half the distance and just as good.
Hubs and I have been trying a new or different diner/restaurant every Sunday this year. I would put this one in my top 5 favorites so far. Food was hot, fresh, and fast. Service was attentive and friendly. The place is small and a little dark but cozy enough. Their home-made corned beef hash was very good and the home fries were delicious. Pancakes were the best I've had besides my own made at home. Definitely worth a visit.
Hollis Country Kitchen restaurant is a hidden gem.They catered our baby shower last Sunday in their charming Old World outdoor garden beneath a giant linden tree. The food, server, and gracious hospitality was outstanding.The menu consisted of a beautiful Greek salad followed by a choice of tender grass fed beef tips, roast lamb, or baked haddock cooked perfectly to individual order, accompanied by a delicious rice dish and fresh garden roasted vegetables carefully carmelized and seasoned. There was an exceptional home-made carrot cake and chocolate cake for dessert that did not stick around for long - thanks again for this remarkable meal! Alex, the chef, and family excel at the art of cooking and the owner has created a little paradise that you won’t want to miss at the crossroads of downtown Hollis.
